Hi vinxer. I've not really had a need to if I'm honest. The main thought was to think in advance of doing any major coding if you want some real presence.
It way be an idea to look into how MSN WebMessenger or facebook do it.

If you check the earlier post you may have a better idea. The basic premise is that you can write/manage your blogs offline, and then sync them (with e.g. wordpress) when you have an internet connection.

@Snapper3166:
Xvid works fine for me. I didn't test it extensively but it streamed from the network just fine.
I'm using WMP11, not TVersity
Try copying to your HDD.

I was trying to advocate Tversity over the PS3 here. My point was that you don't want to have to re-encode your media, and it's nice that Tversity does it as it streams. Tvserisy works with Xvid too, so you will be able to stream Xvid files to your PS3.

It is a XML-RPC client written is JS. Unfortunately it depends on a library but you might be able to work around that.

Woot! Much happiness as I just made my first post from my TW homepage to my WordPress blog.
The main point of this post is: My WordPress blog is not hosted on the WordPress domain. Sure, it was simple to change the '.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php' at the end of the 'this.blogURL' to point to the correct location, but it occurred to me that you might want to have a input field that for that, which if left empty defaults to WordPress.

Alrighty, I've made a few changes, get hold of the BlogPlugin and BlogSetup tiddlers here:

http://jayfresh.tiddlyspot.com/#BlogSetup%20BlogPlugin

The BlogPlugin now uses a custom view template for any tiddler that is tagged "blog" to add the "publish as blog" button. I've added a callback to the XML-RPC call so you can see if there's an error and I've added in support for tags. Also, I've replaced the custom XMLHttpRequest function with TiddlyWiki's cross-browser doHttp().
